Lunar Eclipse Blood Moon, Everywhere – 27th July

The longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century will be arriving this Friday and the best thing about it? You don’t even have to leave your house to see it. Only occurring once in a ‘blood’ moon (get it?), chill out and watch the moon turn into a spectacular red hue from 7.30pm practically anywhere in the UK.




The Spice Girls Exhibition, London – Opens 28th July

Stop right now, thank you very much – your Saturday plans are sorted! A Spice Girls exhibition has just opened (tell your inner fangirl to calm down) and we’ve happily taken a nostalgic trip back to the 90’s… The Spice Girls exhibition opens this weekend in London and it’s running right through until 20th August. Enjoy a throwback with hundreds of memorabilia and costumes, or even take a trip on the Spice Bus. #SpiceUpLondon




The Clipper Race, Liverpool – 28th July

The grand finale is here – 11 yachts have been racing in 12 events over the last year and they make their way to Liverpool this weekend as it all comes to a close. The yachts will compete in a 20-mile sprint towards the Royal Albert Dock, which will see the end of the 2017/18 race. If you’re big into sailing, head down there and you’ll be able to take tours of the yachts and hear all the inspiring stories of the racers.




Lunar Festival, Warwickshire – 27th – 29th July

Missed last year’s festival? After taking a year off, Lunar Festival is back and better than ever with a line up including: Goldfrapp, Basement Jaxx and Amadou & Mariam. Running over four days at Umberslade Farm Park, this year’s Lunar Festival is said to be built around 7 elements – Listen, Learn, Move, Create, Taste, Relax and Laugh. That should tick all the boxes, right?
