Pride, London – 7th July
Celebrating diversity this weekend with vibrant rainbow flags, face paint and glitter, this year’s Pride parade involves 500 LGBT+ groups marching from Portland Place at 12pm, down through Oxford Circus, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square and finishing on Whitehall. Find a spot along the route and join in on the dancing, or grab a seat and watch all the action from the Grandstand. It’s going to be loud, raucous and bright, championing equality whilst simultaneously looking fabulous – what’s not to love?
England Vs. Sweden, worldwide – 7th July
Knowing what an emotional rollercoaster the last match was, how on earth are we going to deal with this one? Catch England Vs. Sweden in the World Cup quarter-finals this Saturday at 3pm. We (and Gareth Southgate) have everything crossed.
Paddle Round The Pier, Brighton – 7th-8th July
This weekend Europe’s biggest FREE beach festival crashes onto Hove Lawns in Brighton. Holding activities such as kayaking, kite surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and swimming, this event is an opportunity to take a dip in the water or enjoy the entertainment on land. Bonus points – there’s sunshine all round this weekend, oh, and it’s free.
Art Night, Southbank Centre London – 7th July
Opening its doors this weekend, Art Night morphs London into a free contemporary arts festival showcasing acclaimed international art along its trail. Starting from the Southbank Centre, going through Nine Elms and to Battersea, the festival comes at the perfect time when the Hayward Gallery celebrates its 50-year anniversary. Again, did we mention it’s free?
Farr Festival, Bygrave Woods Hertfordshire – 5th-7th July
Festival in the forest? Yes please. You bring the glitter, we’ll bring the cocktails. No really, we’ve set up The Mucky Pheasant bar in the VIP area and have partnered with Bonnie Sauce Co. to create some #hotforjack hot sauce-infused cocktails that pack a punch. Let the fiesta begin!
