British Beach Polo Championships, Dorset – 13th– 14th July
Top international players will be returning to Sandbanks in Dorset for a furious game of beach polo. Up to 10,000 people are set to attend with spectators enjoying the matches with a backdrop of the English Channel. Plus, there’s a ‘sandscrum’ (rugby game) and a 7pm beach party that goes on until the early hours.
The Log-O-Rithmic Slide Rule: A Retrospective, Nottingham – 14th July
A retrospective of Swiss architects and designers Trix & Robert Haussmann is opening in Nottingham this week bringing together works from the 60s to present day. They focus on illusion and ambiguity as they blend historical models with pop culture.
Incredibles 2, national – 13th July
The last Incredibles movie was back in 2004. That’s right, 14 years ago. Picking up where they left off, these guys are everyone’s favourite superhero family and we so excited for the sequel. Cue everyone quoting it back in the office.

Wimbledon Finals, Wimbledon – 14th-15th July
Are you more into tennis or football? It’s such a difficult decision this year! If you’re watching Wimbledon instead, then well done, you’re either a true tennis fan or you just really like Pimm’s. Andy might be out, but that doesn’t make the games any less exciting – tune into the finals on 14th July for the women’s and 15th July for the men’s.

Yes, we did mention the World Cup last week, but it only comes around once every four years, so we really do have to make the most of it. Much to our collective dismay it’s not coming home this time round, but who will be the winners? Finger’s crossed to all the people who got France or Croatia in the sweepstakes!
